Publication Ethics
International Journal of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (IJAIC) (E-ISSN: 3124-1212) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to IJAAIR for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The editorial team, reviewers, and authors must comply with ethical behavior as outlined below.
Duties of Editors
- Ensure a fair and unbiased peer review process for all manuscripts submitted to the journal.
- Evaluate manuscripts exclusively on the basis of academic merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and originality.
- Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not disclose any information to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and publisher.
- Take appropriate action if ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted or published manuscript.
Duties of Reviewers
- Conduct the review process objectively, fairly, and professionally.
- Provide constructive feedback to assist the author in improving the manuscript.
- Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and not disclose any information about the manuscript during or after the review process.
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
Duties of Authors
- Ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration elsewhere.
- Provide accurate data and sufficient details so that the work can be replicated by others.
- Cite appropriately all sources used and avoid plagiarism in all forms.
- Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that could influence their research.
- Notify the editor promptly if a significant error is discovered in the published work and cooperate in retractions or corrections.
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to IJAAIR will be checked for plagiarism using appropriate software. The editorial team will reject any manuscript found to contain plagiarism of more than 20%, including self-plagiarism, duplicate submission, or manipulation of citation data.
Retraction and Correction Policy
IJAAIR adheres to the COPE guidelines regarding retraction, correction, and expressions of concern. Articles may be retracted or corrected if found to contain errors, misconduct, or ethical violations that significantly affect the integrity of the published work.
